Adele’s public supports for Kesha sends a note to other female artists, many experts have claimed.
The British singer stormed the recent BRIT awards in London, taking home four awards just months after she returned to music.
As well as wowing having a performance of her new track When We Were Young, Adele also used her time on stage to declare her support for fellow singer Kesha’s ongoing legal battle against Sony Music and producer Dr. Luke.
"I'd also love to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,” Adele told the group when she accepted the Best Female gong.
A music insider tells Britain’s Grazia magazine that was a huge moment for ladies in music.
“For Adele to work with her platform on the BRITs sends a note to other female artists that – regardless of label ties they've already – they shouldn’t hesitate to stand up for starters another,” the tutor said.

The court case occurred after she filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against her one-time mentor and producer Dr. Luke in October, 2014, accusing him of subjecting her to a lot of sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse.
However the judge dismissed the preliminary injunction she sought to sever ties using the music firm.
Sony bosses have claimed they're “not capable of terminate the contractual relationship between Luke and Kesha", but have elected it feasible for her to record without connection while using producer.
After the judge ruling Kesha, 29, popularized her Facebook page to vent her anger.
"This case hasn't ever been of a renegotiation of my record contract – that it was never about finding a bigger, or even a better deal," she wrote. "This is all about being devoid of my abuser. All I ever wanted were to be able to make music without having to be afraid, scared, or abused."
Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham also have publically supported Kesha, with Taylor donating $250,000 in a very show of solidarity and Lena penning your site post within the issue.
